Quintalicious

Graduate Woodwind Quintet in Residence

Hailing from Brazil, Canada, Taiwan and the United States, Quintalicous was formed in August 2016 as the woodwind quintet-in-residence at University of Colorado Boulder College of Music. Members serve as teaching assistants and mentors for the flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and horn studios in the College of Music. The ensemble performs concerts as well as outreach programs in the community. The quintet completed a school concert residency in Aspen in December 2016. Quintalicious was also featured on a faculty recital at CU, and gave their own chamber recital. Quintalicious is coached by Yoshi Ishikawa and Christina Jennings and features flutist Júlio Zabaleta, oboist Heather Macdonald, clarinetist Emily Wangler, bassoonist Michelle Chen and hornist Kelsey Bentley make up Quintalicious.
