The Roe Green Theatre is our proscenium theatre located on the second floor of the east wing of the University Theatre building. Performances in the Roe Green Theatre are reserved seat ticketing. Please do not use Apple Maps to find the Roe Green Theatre. There are several incorrect listings that will lead you to wrong locations.

All CU Presents venues have nearby outdoor bike racks. No bike? No problem! Boulder B-cycle offers an easy and affordable bike-sharing system with 41 stations around town and on the CU Boulder campus.

2024/25 ADA Parking Update

Due to construction at the Hellems building, ADA parking in Lot 208 is unavailable. On show nights at the Roe Green Theatre, Lot 233 will serve as an ADA drop-off zone for easier access to the University Theatre building. For ADA parking, please use Lot 380 along Pleasant Street or the Euclid Avenue Autopark. Note that Lot 233 is only for drop-offs and parking there during the show is not allowed.

To secure the best seating, it's advisable to arrange these services when purchasing your tickets.

Elevator access to the box office and accessible restrooms in the lower lobby are located at the east entrance to the University Theatre Building. 

Assisted Listening Devices available upon request Assisted listening device

Assistive listening devices (ALDs) are available first-come, first-served from the box office, house manager or ushers. Quantities are limited. A credit card or driver's license is required as a deposit but will be returned post-performance. The University Theatre Box Office is located on the lower level of the University Theatre Building. Please request your ALD before the show begins since the box office is closed for the duration of each performance.

ASL interpretation available upon request American Sign Language interpretation 

CSF offers American Sign Language interpretation for our productions. To arrange this service, email the box office at cupresents@colorado.edu at least two weeks before the performance date. Include the location and the number of attendees requiring interpretation. ASL interpretation is typically available for the show duration. If you would like continued services through any scheduled pre or post show events, please communicate this clearly to the box office.

Service dogs allowed Service dogs

Service dogs specifically trained to assist individuals with disabilities are welcome in all CU Presents venues, within certain restrictions. Please note assistance animals (such as therapy, emotional support or comfort animals) are typically not permitted inside our venues. For more detailed information on the guidelines concerning service animals on campus, please consult the CU Boulder service animals policy.

Door opening times

Facilities open one hour before performances. Performance doors open approximately 20 minutes before start time for Theatre & Dance productions, and 30 minutes before Colorado Shakespeare Festival productions.

Late Seating

Late seating is at the discretion of the house manager and is not guaranteed. Please arrive well before the event start time.

Food and drink

No glass containers are permitted in the theatre. The University of Colorado prohibits outside alcoholic beverages from being brought onto campus, so please leave all alcohol at home.

Smoking or vaping

Smoking or vaping is not permitted anywhere on the CU Boulder campus.

Electronic devices

Laptops, tablets, phones and other mobile devices must be switched to silent mode in the hall. All screens must be off when performers are on the stage to avoid disturbing other patrons.

Recording devices

By contractual agreement with the artists, photographs and audio or video recordings are strictly prohibited.

Accessories

Large personal items are not permitted inside the venue.
